Hermes visits Hermitcraft - The Soup Stand

I had to take so many screenshots to draw the environment as correctly as possible but at one point I just gave up. But this was very fun!

I wanted to render this a bit more but I'm a bit rusty and spent a lot of time on it already, and to me this is good enough! I like it and feel it's finished enough to share :3

Ive already written everything i wanted in the desc, but i wanted to thank yall for the support I got when i first posted some drawings from this 😭😭 Sadly the quality of some drawings got ruined in the rendering, so now three of those are worse than the rest, but im doing my best to try to ignore it

more than a late night snack - master list gojo satoru x reader

warnings: tw!ptsd, descriptions of injury and death additional tags: slice of life, fluff/angst, strangers to friends/ friends to lovers/idiots to lovers, black cat/golden retriever dynamic, student!gojo, slow burn. no smut.

status: ongoing (no schedule)

summary: with the burden of being a sorcerer weighing heavily on your mind, you find an unexpected friend in the strongest – satoru gojo. after bonding over late night snacks, shared traumas, midnight meals and forced proximity, gojo starts to wonder if he keeps coming back because of the delicious food you share together or for you.

chapter 1: udon wc: 3.1k

reeling from your last mission, gojo irritatingly persuades you to make udon. you reluctantly learn to appreciate his company while gojo unexpectedly gets to know you better.

chapter 2: pocari sweat wc: 3.2k

sparring with geto is always difficult, but with gojo’s new found interest in you, it’s proving to be a different challenge all together.

chapter 3: green tea wc: 2.5k

after trying to cheer you up after a bad day, gojo starts to wonder what these growing new feelings towards you mean.

chapter 4: chicken curry wc: 4.1k

gojo shows up unannounced during one of your solo missions. in a battle of egos, you have a disagreement when you mistake his worry for bravado. 

chapter 5: mandarin wc: 3.2k

when you consistently ignore gojo’s frequent texts to hang out, he takes matters into his own hands.

chapter 6: taiyaki wc: 4.5k

while on your first joint mission together, a new level of understanding is reached when you open up to gojo about your past as he tries to get closer to you in more ways than one.

chapter 7: congee wc: 5.1k

a healthy satoru gojo was already annoying, but a sick satoru gojo is almost unbearable. ieri comes up with a plan, while you and gojo learn about the things that you have in common.

chapter 8: strawberry shortcake wc: 6.2k

when gojo finds that he’s surprisingly irritated observing your growing friendship with geto, ieri has some advice for him.

chapter 9: donuts– out now! wc: 7.7k

after returning from kyoto, gojo asks you to sneak out with him to get late night donuts. after he gives you a thoughtful gift, you can't help but admit that he makes you happy

Keeper -- a short comic about an angel meeting a robotic lighthouse keeper that doesn't know the world has already ended. Made in about 18 hours for a 24-hour 24-page* black and white comic challenge (that I arrived late to, ha.)

*the actual submission does not include the cover, which was created after the fact for this post.

This was a really great learning experience as someone who's... never really made a completed comic. I ended up really attached to the story by the end of the project (possibly due to all-nighter deliriousness lol) and ultimately am very proud of what I made.There are some things I'd still like to change, particularly text placement, but in keeping with the spirit of the challenge I've elected to leave it as is.
